باسمه تعالى

When a person is poisoned, it takes 6 to 48 hours to take full effect. During that time, the persons health deteriorates. They become weaker and weaker, the bladder and liver malfunction and breathing becomes more difficult. They don’t know the cause. They dont know the reason. They know something is wrong, but it’s too late. They can’t cure something they don’t recognise or accept. They try all sorts of medications, but they are treating the wrong problem and using the wrong methods.

The Muslim Ummah has been poisoned. Look around us everything is malfunctioning. Muslims are not deceiving people. We have already been deceived. We are practising and participating in what we think is Islam. The fundamentals and foundation might be the same, but everything else is changing. The poison has entered the minds of the leaders of Muslim countries, it has contaminated the hearts of Muslim preachers, and has even manipulated and crippled Islamic organisations. This is the very reason Palestine has been abandoned. No one fears the actions of Muslims because they know we are not on the deen of nabi ﷺ.

The cure to our situation is to abandon the evils, the sins, and incorrect practices. The cure is to turn to Allah in repentance and stop following those people who mislead us. The cure is to revert back to the quraan and sunnah of nabi ﷺ. Instead, just like the poisoned person, we are using the incorrect medications. We have not realised the problem. We have not realised our mistakes that have made us weak. we want to march, protest, and beg from the very people who have oppressed the muslims. We want to hold out our hands to the very people who have been poisoning us, thinking that they actually have hearts to care. They have been influencing our religion with their money, their handouts, their charities, their foundations, their agendas, their ideas, and their beliefs.

Allah has already told us they will not be happy with us until we accept their ways. To them, we are like how Bani Israel was to Firoun. We just don’t realise it. If the problem is our disobedience to Allah, then how can that be resolved with more disobedience? We are weak today because of our sins. How can we get any stronger by committing more sins? We have been turning away from the Quran and sunnah, and instead of recognising the cure, realising our error, and turning back to deen, we want to plunge ourselves further into darkness. Israel has justified genocide and murder, with the intention of doing good, and we have justified sins with the intention of trying to help Palestinians.

This situation is a trial. The trial is not if we can help our Palestinians brothers and sisters, but the test is to see if we can stand up for deen and hold steadfast onto the teachings of Islam. In that regard, we are failing miserably. We have no control over the outcome of what will happen in Palestine, but we do have control over how we react to it. If we react in sin, then no matter what we do and what benefit it may seem to bring, we will be sinful.

Remember, people have been oppressed in the past, the stories are present in the quraan and sunnah, and people will always be oppressed. Have we read in any stories of the Prophets alahis salaam that they turned to haraam methods? Have we read in the quraan and sunnah any law that allows us to break Islamic laws in situations of oppression?

So ask ourselves, where are we headed? Let us evaluate our own actions and see if they coincide with the quraan and sunnah?

Our success is always in following the teachings of Islam. In everything else, we may think there is a benefit, but what benefit would there be if it is leading us astray.

May Allah keep me and you guided.

Ameen
